Booking & Service ConditionsCydamos Limited provides Professional Services in three major fields; namely Travel Services, Educational Services , and IT Services. The Company acts as a retail agent for all of its services. Cydamos also acts as a retail agent for an ATOL / IATA License Holder when an air ticket is purchased through Cydamos Ltd. and is not required by the English law to be a member of ABTA for providing such Ground Services in Libya.
Cydamos specialises in providing travel services to Libya through the following activities:
Visa Services:
Visa services is provided by endorsing an Arabic Stamp to any passport requiring a visa to Libya. The personal data is then translated to Arabic and submitted to The Libyan Peoples Bureau for processing at a set fee of £ 75 inclusive. Once a passport is processed and submitted, no refund will be reimbursed should an applicant is refused an entry to Libya.
Organised ( Archaeological - War Graves & Sahara ) Tours In Libya:
Cydamos is linked with the largest Libyan Tour operator; Sukra Travel & Tourism Services Inc. and only engages in the ground services provided by this Tour operator in Libya. Sukra Travel & Tourism Services Inc. is referred here as the Tour Operator. These tours are specialised in visiting Archaeological sites and War Graves in Libya as featured in the Brochure and can be tailor made for a specific visitor to Libya. Cydamos does not provide any other tours to any other country.
Cydamos is not a Travel Agency , but can act as a retail agent to another ATOL holder from which air tickets can be purchased directly or through Cydamos. Once a ticket is issued from an ATOL/IATA holder, it is the sole responsibility of the Travel Agency to provide you with a written confirmation of your booking and it is your responsibility as a traveller to contact the holder for any information regarding your flight booking in accordance to IATA & ATOL regulations governing travelling abroad and abided by the Travel Agency. It is also advisable to know well in advance any restrictions imposed on your ticket Cydamos does not accept any liabilities for any flight delays or cancellation and any claims should be addressed to that ATOL holder ( the Travel Agency) who issued your tickets. Once your full payment is received, your trip will be confirmed when we send you a written confirmation invoice.
Cydamos Ltd. is committed to its clients in the event of insolvency of either Cydamos Ltd. in the UK or the Tour Operator in Libya. All money you pay us for a package tour excluding an air ticket ( even if we act as a retail agent to an ATOL/IATA holder ) will be completely refunded. Furthermore the money you pay us will only be paid to the Tour Operator in Libya upon your safe return to the UK with your complete satisfaction. Any other claims should be submitted in writing to the Managing Director - Cydamos Ltd.
Medical Insurance:
Libya is a restricted country to many Major Medical Insurance Companies and for this reason Cydamos Limited in association with ENDSLEIGH Insurance Service Ltd can offer insurance which is designed to meet the needs of overseas students intending to study in the UK and to British tourists visiting Libya. Cydamos Ltd. has negotiated special arrangements with the tour operator in Libya for medical services in accordance with ENDSLEIGH terms and conditions. A copy of your policy will be sent to you as a policy holder covering your visit to Libya. We strongly recommended this insurance policy directly from us whether your trip to Libya is for Business or Tourism. You should read your policy carefully and any claims should be directly addressed to ENDSLEIGH Insurance Services Ltd. You are, of course, at liberty to make alternative travel insurance arrangements. These must be at least equal to those we provide, and we will require details of the company and policy number when booking your trip to Libya.
This insurance policy offers excellent cover at competitive rate and is provided by a company which is well known and highly respected in the field of travel insurance giving cover for cancellation, repatriation and fees as well as full medical cover . Up to £ 1,000,000 for Medical Expenses and £1,000,000 for Personal Liability.
If you or anyone travelling with you, has in the last 12 months suffered from any serious illness which has required consultation or treatment with a doctor or hospital, you / they must obtain your/their doctor's written permission to travel. It is important that the doctor is fully aware of the nature of the holiday and the country you are proposing to take, its duration and the travel arrangements involved. You must tell Cydamos Ltd. about any other medical facts which are likely to affect your holiday plans or require special arrangements and services in Libya.
Cydamos provides Education Consultancy Services to overseas students wishing to study English in the UK or to continue their Academic study in a British University. Cydamos is an agent to many educational institutes in the UK. Services provided are in accordance with each school , college or university. Cancellation of bookings are also in accordance with each school or college published terms and condition as featured in its prospectus.
Cydamos provides these services at a flat rate of £ 100 per each booking. This fee is non-refundable for any reason whatsoever.
Cydamos Ltd is an appointed agent to many Computer Software and Hardware Vendors and acts as a retail agent. The company does not accept any liabilities for any product it sells directly to you as a customer. You should directly contact the manufacturer for any claims in accordance with written terms and conditions as indicated in the invoice.
