Study in Regency Splendour
When refurbishing the Brighton International Language School, the EF took great care not to detract from the building's gracious Regency atmosphere. Today, it is not only one of the most popular Language schools in England, but one of the most attractive too. Several of the classrooms overlook the sea. Learning facilities include a Language Laboratory with multimedia stations and a self - access centre available for private study. The light, spacious student Lounge is a perfect place to relax after lessons while the school's own cafeteria serves a variety of refreshments for between classes.
Quality Education and Accommodation
The EF school is situated in Brighton's most elegant square, only 10-minutes walk from Brighton Marina. Students from the world over are drawn here by the school's location but also by its academic reputation. The established team of teachers have a wealth of experience in preparing students for examinations such as TOEFL and the Cambridge Proficiency(CPE).
During your course, you have the choice of staying with a local host family or in the student residence, just a short bus ride from the school..
London by the Sea
Every year, visitors flock to this lively and cosmopolitan coastal resort. The quaint shops and restaurants of "The Lanes" are a paradise for souvenirs and good food. Plays are often performed at the extravagant Theatre Royal before reaching the West End and Brighton's numerous attractions have earned its nickname "London by the Sea". If you can tear yourself away, a regular express train service takes you to the centre of London in only 55 minutes.
Free Time in Brighton
Swim or sunbathe on the beach, have fun on the pier or explore the fascinating old part of the town. In addition to a host of water sports available in Brighton, you can try horse riding, golf and tennis. The staff will organise day excursions to show you the sights of England, including London and Canterbury, and weekend trips can take you even further afield to sample the attractions of Edinburgh, Dublin, Amsterdam and Paris.
